The objective of this project was to design a line of cosmetic products that would be competitive in today’s marketplace.
Taking inspiration from fruit, and the benefits of fruit juices and extracts in skincare, a watermelon-themed cosmetic line was chosen. The name of the brand, Citrulline, comes from the amino acid of the same name, which was first isolated in watermelon.
Citrulline was designed with a bright and bold tone in mind, The colours are directly inspired by the fruit and rind of a watermelon. The vibrant colours are eye-catching and fun. The sans serif typeface adds a modern feeling to the fun and fruit design.
